A taste journal, inside ChatGPT
Remember how every meal tasted.
Savoir keeps the dish, the texture and the feeling in your own words. Then it uses your taste, and the friends you trust, to help choose where you eat next.
Free pilot, starting in San Francisco.

Marée
- White fish
- Melted on the tongue. Loved it.
- Grilled prawns
- Sweet, snappy, bright with lemon.
- This meal
- Worth every dollar
Only you can see this
Why Savoir
Stars forget what you tasted.
A 4.5 tells you nothing about the sauce, the crust or why you would go back. A notes app keeps words but never learns your palate. Savoir keeps both.
- 01
Your words, not ratings
Say it the way you would tell a friend. Savoir keeps each dish's texture, flavor and verdict, separate from what the restaurant says about itself.
- 02
A palate that is yours
Over time Savoir notices what you return to: delicate fish, sharp acidity, a quiet room. You can see every clue and correct it.
- 03
Friends you actually trust
Share a meal with a few people. Their real notes, not anonymous reviews, shape your next choice.
How it works
Three moments, one loop.
- 1 · Save@Savoir save this meal
Talk, snap, confirm.
Add a photo and a few words after dinner. Savoir drafts the card dish by dish. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
- 2 · Remember@Savoir open my collection
Every dish, still there.
Your meals and a taste portrait built only from your own notes. Ask in any new chat and your record comes back.
- 3 · Choose@Savoir find dinner for Saturday
Three picks, with reasons.
Comparable options, each with why it fits you, what friends said and the trade-offs. Sources are shown and gaps are named.
My taste
Current clue: you keep loving dishes that melt in the mouth.

MaréeOct 4
The fish melted. Would order it again.

Coast & PineSep 27
Prawns had real snap, lemon just right.

JuniperSep 19
Tart, bright, barely sweet. Perfect ending.

Juniper
- What to order
- Crudo, roast halibut, lemon tart
- Why you
- Delicate fish and bright acidity, like your Marée notes
- Friends said
- Léa: “The halibut is silky.”
- Keep in mind
- Busy after 8 pm. Book ahead.
Illustrative cards. Names, notes and photos are samples, not real reviews.
After you eat, tell Savoir how it went. The next pick starts from that.

Made for
People who eat with intent.
- You order the dish nobody else at the table has tried.
- You remember the bread course, but not the restaurant's name.
- You plan a trip around one bakery.
- Friends ask you where to eat, and you want better answers.
Principles
Your taste, handled with care.
Private by default
Every meal starts visible only to you. Sharing is per meal, and you can take it back.
Nothing invented
If Savoir does not know the restaurant or the dish, it asks. Outside information shows its source and never passes as your opinion.
Yours to correct
Anything Savoir infers about your taste can be edited or removed. Your record is designed to travel with you.
Questions
Before you join.
What is Savoir?
Savoir is a food journal and dining companion that works inside ChatGPT. You save meals by talking, keep a private record of how each dish tasted, share meals with friends you choose and get restaurant picks based on your own palate.
Do I need ChatGPT?
Yes. Savoir runs as an app inside ChatGPT, so you use it in the conversation you already have open. You will need a ChatGPT account.
When can I start?
We are opening a small pilot first, starting in San Francisco, with more cities after. People on the waitlist hear first.
Is it free?
The pilot is free.
How is this different from Yelp, Google Maps or Beli?
Review sites and ranking apps score restaurants. Savoir remembers how specific dishes tasted to you, then uses your notes and your friends' notes to explain a pick. It is not a public review site.
Who can see my meals?
Only you, until you share a meal. Shared meals go to the friends you choose, and you can withdraw them.
What happens to my email?
We use it to send your invite and occasional launch news. Every email has an unsubscribe link. The privacy page has the details.
